Until the 7th of january my work will be exhibited at the Descartes Center in Utrecht. The Descartes Center is a meeting center of the University Medical Center. The final result of the Regional Art Days (preliminary rounds) and National Art Days is a position in the top 100 of 2013. A complete list of artists in the top 100 can be viewed here: http://www.kunstdagen.nl/winnaars/

The National Artdays (Nationale Kunstdagen), is an annual Art Fair in the Netherlands. The artist for this fair are selected (top 33%) during 8 Regional Art Days earlier in the year. I entered two of these preliminary rounds this year in Amsterdam and Arnhem. I was selected for the National Artdays by jury and visitor votes on both occasions. The National Art Days take place at the Van Nelle Ontwerpfabriek (Van Nelle Design Factory). 

The jury of Art Buzz Fine Art Search 2014 awarded my work 1st place in the Graphic Art category. As a result I will receive two full pages of exposure in the book Art Buzz Collection 2014. Art Buzz, the book, is an annual, full-color, fine quality, large format (8.5" x 11" - not square this year), hardcover publication that is scheduled for release in January.

I received notice that my work has been accepted into the book "Art Buzz, The 2014 Collection"! Art Buzz Publishing: "We have not yet determined your award (1st, 2nd, 3rd, Honorable Mention, etc.) because we are still in the entry review phase. Soon we will determine your publication level award and let you know." Fingers crossed!

Art Buzz Publishing offers an alternative to mainstream art publications and a way for lesser known and undiscovered visual artists to showcase their work to an international audience. Through their annual "Art Buzz Fine Art Search", they call out to passionate emerging and mid-career visual artists throughout the world. Those artists selected—chosen solely on the merits of their work not their resume, background, biography, etc.—are awarded with inclusion in the upcoming Art Buzz Collection volume. And, unlike many other publications, artists can not buy their way into this book.

The local media in Tiel paid attention to my exhibition at the Art Brewery (Kunstbrouwerij) as well. Local newspaper 'De Zakengids' published an article and the local TV-station interviewed me! My current exhibition at the Art Brewery (Kunstbrouwerij) in Tiel is announced on big Led Displays located at the acces road and railway station of the municipality. Great to have some free publicity!
